Just to Have You Back Again

Today was the last day of classes, and I certainly was not going to waste my time today. I visited just about every period I could just to see what the campers were up to. In Arts and Crafts the crafters were making colorful slime and in ceramics the potters were taking home

In Years to Come

I began the day with a quick jaunt to the Landsports field to see what the campers were up to over there. They were having a ball playing World Cup and Capture the Flag, while the archers across the field were applauding every camper who landed an arrow on the target in Archery.

Lights, Camera, Castle!

Another lovely day of sun under Old Bald today! Speaking of Old Bald, a lucky group of campers hiked up this morning, and the day was so clear, they could see all the way to South Carolina! Another bunch of campers took a trip out of camp to Grimshaws, or sliding rock, where they

This is the Greatest Talent Show!

This morning I visited the Woodworking class, which was in the midst of making beautiful birdhouses. In Tumbling, the campers were practicing for their Castle Revue performance tomorrow and in tennis the players were working on their forehands and backhands while playing tennis

Here Comes the Sun

When I woke up this morning, the strangest thing happened—I saw light! Sunlight! There wasn’t a cloud in the sky today in a miraculous turn of events and, like me, the campers couldn’t be more excited. Today everyone was out enjoying the rays, arching on the archery field,

And TAJAR Was His Name-O

Even though the rain has not let up, the campers haven’t let any of the clouds or puddles get them down. In fact, it might be adding an extra level of fun and folly to everyone’s day. Landsports has certainly been having a ball playing kickball despite the drizzle, and the

Rain, Rain, Can’t Stop the Play

Today was the first day of activities, and while the consistent drizzle gave pause to some classes, everyone was having a great time regardless. I decided to visit the docks first to see how the campers were fairing on Lake Fairfield. The classes are going swimmingly, and campers
