Welcome Back to Summer Fun!

I got so excited this morning as I woke up in my tree-top bed because I heard cars coming down the camp road and I remembered that today was opening day for the August session! I couldn’t wait to meet all of the new campers and see what fun things they would do this session.

Until We Meet Again Beneath the Starry Sky

Today was a bittersweet day, as it was the final full day of the session as well as the day of Final Shows. In the morning, after a quite necessary packing time, we had Castle at Chapel where recognitions were given to the campers that have passed levels in activities and

We’re Crazy for Camp!

This morning after a very eventful breakfast where the oldest cabins pranked us all by decorating the Dining Hall in The Greatest Showman theme, I joined a Farm and Garden class as they scavenged for eggs form the chicken coop and made some yummy omelets with the ones they found.

A Very Merrie Christmas

Today was a very exciting day, as it was Christmas in July, one of our favorite holidays here at camp. The Dining Hall was decorated in style and cheer with garlands, signs, and snowmen made by campers during Sunday activities. After the festivities at breakfast were over I

In the True Performing of It

This morning I was feeling a little chilly in the cool weather so I decided to be proactive and visit knitting to see if I could talk my way into borrowing a scarf or some warm wooly socks. Some campers were nice enough to lend me a pair of needles so I can make them myself! Once

Keeping Watch Over Mountains High

Today was the final Sunday of the session and I did my best to give it my all. After a hearty meal of quiche and such, we all sat down for the Chapel service during which the Advanced Dance class and Glee Club put on collaboration. I certainly was left with goosebumps after their

Swimming, Boating, and Directing, Too!

Today was the Swim and Boat Meet, which was a well-deserved break from the activities we’ve been doing for quite some time. We all got to spend the beautiful morning out on the docks, participating in exciting races such as canoeing without a paddle and the Merrie Woode special.

We’re Going on a Counselor Hunt

This morning, I was in the mood for some theater arts, so I made my way up the Castle hill to watch the dress rehearsal for the first night of Director’s Showcase. I can’t wait for the rest of camp to see it! Afterwards, I peeked into Hip Hop, which was fervently practicing the
