Merrie Woode’s Got Talent
Today we all awoke to realize that the Wampus Cat had visited last night and left his whiskery kisses on our cheeks! I of course knew my dear feline friend would be visiting, but it’s always such a fun surprise when he does that I didn’t want to spoil it. This morning was also sleep-in, and I sure was thankful for the extra hour and change of sleep—nothing tires this old Tajar out like dance parties and good times! This morning I walked around the lake admiring everyone’s whisker markings. The swimmers were having a blast splashing around and a Photography class came by to take some snapshots of the greenery around the lake.
In the afternoon I visited the barn where the Drill Team was preparing their performance for Final Shows. It’s hard to believe that there are so few days until then! A Guitar class up at King Arthur’s Court was enjoying the beautiful weather, so I decided to pay them a visit as well. In the Dance Studio I found a Hip Hop class practicing their piece for Final Shows, and I stood outside to admire the campers’ choreography. Tonight’s Evening Program was Talent Night and it was quite a treat to watch it. Every year the campers never cease to impress me with the multitudes of talents with which they grace the Castle stage, and this year didn’t disappoint. Now I guess I’ll have to practice my own talent before bedtime—stargazing and harmonizing with the bullfrogs.
May you use your talents as well,
Tajar
