CABIN LIFE

CABIN LIFE IS THE HEART OF CAMP

Five people pose on the stairs of a rustic wooden cabin surrounded by trees.

Cabin life is at the heart of the Merrie-Woode experience, fostering close friendships through shared activities such as preparing skits for Evening Program, bonding over card games during Rest Hour, and enjoying Free-Time together. These moments create a sense of belonging and lasting memories that campers will carry with them long after the summer ends.

Cabins at Merrie-Woode are rustic wooden structures with screened windows and electricity. Each cabin has wooden bunk beds and plenty of storage for each camper. A typical cabin consists of 1-2 counselors and 4-6 campers. Cabins share bathhouses directly behind the cabin line. Older campers live in cabins with 2 counselors and 8-10 campers. These cabins have built-in bathrooms.
