It’s Time for the Closing Campfire

2016_07_27Today was the last day of regular scheduled camp. I started my morning off in the center of camp, where Weaving, Ceramics, and Stained Glass were finishing up their projects. Arts & Crafts have been getting ready for the Art Show after 4th period. It looks like we have some talented campers! Over on the Archery Field, the advanced archery class met and tried to shoot apples off the targets. They even had a moving target, what fun! I saw my horse friends walking down the main road this morning during 2nd period. Everyone has been practicing their routines for the Final Show! We are all very excited to see what each activity has come up with. I saw the Synchronized Swimmers going through their dance today after rest hour and they were looking good. I even jumped in the water myself, to cool down.

Tonight’s Evening Program was the Closing Campfire and everyone sang their favorite campfire songs. Later, some girls were presented with their bracelets and everyone cheered.

Swinging from the trees,

Tajar

About the Author
Tajar is something like a tiger, and something like a jaguar, and something like a badger; and if you should see him once, you would forget what he looked like, but if you should see him twice you would forget to forget what he looked like, and that could be quite fatal. The Tajar lives near Merrie-Woode...in Merrie-Woode and around Merrie-Woode and under Merrie-Woode and over Merrie-Woode. He's a mischievous little creature, filled with folly, who keeps his ear to the ground on all the goings on at camp!
