The Little Mermaid and Plaque Night

2016_07_26It’s been a warm day here at camp; everyone has been practicing and preparing for Final Shows on Thursday. I started my morning off in the Arts and Craft hut, where campers used bubble solution and shaving cream to create fun art. The Ceramics classes have been putting the finishing touches on their clay art before they submit it to the art show. I’ve seen some great works of art! I can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks at the Art Show tomorrow. On the Archery field, I watched as some of the counselors made a target moveable for the advanced archery class. How Fun! Horseback Riding has been taking their campers on fun trail rides and the Mountaineering group took some campers on the low ropes course. While I was hanging in my tree, I heard the ukulele class practicing their song for Final Show and it was sounding good.

After lunch, The Nature Garden class that made popsicles yesterday got to eat them on the porch on the Main Office. We had a good rain during rest hour, but that didn’t stop us from having fun! Everyone who saw the play last night have been raving about it, so I’m excited to see it tonight with the Knights while the Pages, Yeoman, and Squires paint their plaques for their cabins.

Staying dry,

Tajar

About the Author
Tajar is something like a tiger, and something like a jaguar, and something like a badger; and if you should see him once, you would forget what he looked like, but if you should see him twice you would forget to forget what he looked like, and that could be quite fatal. The Tajar lives near Merrie-Woode...in Merrie-Woode and around Merrie-Woode and under Merrie-Woode and over Merrie-Woode. He's a mischievous little creature, filled with folly, who keeps his ear to the ground on all the goings on at camp!
