Closing Campfire

2016_06_21Today was another beautiful day here at Camp Merrie-Woode. This morning, Bum’s Rest pulled a hilarious prank in the dining hall when they stole the director’s table and had a Blackout Rave Dance Party during breakfast. What a fun way to start the day! The Photography Class has taken some wonderful pictures this session and we added a separate folder on Pass with their favorite shots! All the other activities are preparing for their final shows tomorrow! What talented campers we have this session! The Ceramics Class made some great looking figurines and pottery! And, I love listening to the Guitar Class while I’m sitting in the trees by Chapel! I noticed the campers were playing another game of World Cup on the Land Sports Field this morning and my new wolf friend came to back again today to hang out with the Nature class at the Nature Nook. What folly!

Tonight’s Evening Program was a special one! We had our Closing Campfire tonight and some of the campers were presented with their Camp Merrie-Woode bracelets! I wish I had one!

Swinging from the trees,

Tajar

About the Author
Tajar is something like a tiger, and something like a jaguar, and something like a badger; and if you should see him once, you would forget what he looked like, but if you should see him twice you would forget to forget what he looked like, and that could be quite fatal. The Tajar lives near Merrie-Woode...in Merrie-Woode and around Merrie-Woode and under Merrie-Woode and over Merrie-Woode. He's a mischievous little creature, filled with folly, who keeps his ear to the ground on all the goings on at camp!
